The cottage has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with 2 single beds, all linen supplied including electric blankets. Open plan dining area has TV and Stereo/CD player, heaters. Kitchen has fridge, microwave, hot plates, bench top oven, electric frypan, toaster and hot water jug. The separate bathroom has shower, toilet and vanity, hair dryer supplied. Laundry facilities are available. There is off street parking.

Tairua boasts picturesque harbour and ocean beaches, along with golf course, tennis court and other outdoor and indoor activities. There are many interesting walks to gold mine relics, twin kauri trees, historic Sailors Grave beach and to several vantage points overlooking the village, ocean, harbour and mountain ranges.
